XQX6800D3Y客车是在安徽江淮汽车股份有限公司已上公告的三类底盘HFC6782KY1D3基础上加装车身开发的新车型,在设计上对车辆的动力匹配、性能和舒适性作了进一步提升。为使其舒适性更好,选用具有复合式空气囊悬架装置的客车底盘。同时由于客运和旅游用车具有行程远、行李多的特点，该车设计了170升的大容量油箱，并采用贯通式大行李仓。客车外形设计要求:外观新颖，线条流畅，具有动感，美观大方。
